Can you spot what’s missing in this picture? It’s one of Bijou’s front legs! This gorgeous gal came to Pets Unlimited from Kings County where she was found as a stray with a poorly healed fracture that necessitated the amputation of her leg. Though she’s still adjusting to three-legged life, Bijou hasn’t lost any of her affection for people. A sucker for cheek rubs, Bijou also enjoys her luxurious, dilute calico coat being brushed.
Still a young girl, Bijou will probably pick up the pace once she figures out how to hunt toys one-handed. At this point she’d prefer a home with family members teenaged and older, and she’d like to be the only furry jewel in your home. Looking for a rare gem?
