This sturdy hunk of a dog is Huckleberry, a three year-old Labrador Retriever mix from San Martin Animal Shelter. Found running down a highway in the area by a good Samaritan, Huckleberry is understandably still reeling from the experience and is looking for an adults-only home with space in their hearts for this sometimes-nervous big boy. A well-muscled adolescent, Huck is still working on his doggie social skills and prefers a long jog around the Presidio instead of the dog park any day.
